Yes. Sign-up is online and the ID check runs on your phone with an Australian passport or driver licence. Because your operating address is overseas, your application goes to a person for review rather than being approved automatically. That usually takes up to 2 business days.
Not yet. At launch we only accept businesses run by people living in Australia, or Australians working overseas. If you're an overseas founder, contact us and we'll let you know when that changes.
Yes, except to countries where sanctions or carrier restrictions apply. You pay Australia Post's international postage, plus $2 handling on Business Address (no handling fee on Pro). We send you a quote to approve first. Most people ask for a scan instead and never need the original.
Requests made before 2pm Melbourne time on a business day are scanned the same day. Wherever you are, the scan appears in your dashboard and you get an alert.
Yes, once your ID checks pass. The address isn't the hard part: a Pty Ltd also needs at least one director who ordinarily lives in Australia. We don't provide directors, so sort that out before you leave.
No. We handle letters and documents only. Parcels are refused and go back to the sender.
No. We don't give tax or legal advice. The ATO's residency guidance is the place to start, and an accountant can tell you how it applies to you.
